Fostering global business practices to promote equitable economic development, resource sustainability and just forms of government. The International Business Ethics Institute is a 501(c)(3) private, nonprofit, nonpartisan, educational organization. The Institute was founded in 1994 in response to the growing need for transnationalism in the field of business ethics. The Institute is located in Washington, DC, with an affiliate office in London. The Institute promotes business ethics and corporate responsibility through two key program areas. First, it works to increase public awareness and dialogue about international business ethics issues through such educational resources and activities as the Roundtable Discussion Series, the International Business Ethics Review and this website. Second, the Institute works closely with companies to assist them in establishing effective international ethics programs. The Institute is dedicated to disseminating business ethics information to demonstrate the positive, tangible changes that responsible business can generate. |

News IBEI A Global Partner of the 2008 ISBEE World Congress 3/19/2007 The International Business Ethics Institute (IBEI) would like to announce an opportunity for formal and informal discussion on business ethics with perspectives from around the world. The ISBEE World Congress, held every fourth year, brings together business leaders and ethicists to discuss the most important ethical issues in international business and economics and also provides a forum for identifying the most pressing ethical issues that should be addressed by business and academia.
