INTERN OPPORTUNITIES
Fall, Winter/Spring, and Summer Internship Opportunities in Business Ethics The International Business Ethics Institute maintains an internship program that spans the entire academic year into the summer; we offer Fall, Winter/Spring, and Summer positions. We take our responsibilities to our student interns seriously, ensuring that they have the opportunity to work alongside Institute staff members on substantive projects. The Institute actively works to help interns enhance their professional skills and to improve their knowledge and understanding of the field of business ethics and corporate responsibility. This is an ideal opportunity for the qualified candidate to gain knowledge and experience in business ethics, international business management, the nonprofit sector, and public education. The Institute will not be offering internships during the academic year 2007/2008. Please contact us again in Fall of 2008 for internship opportunities.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and capabilities: • Adept at using research tools and databases • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills • Well-developed organizational skills • Due to our small office environment, this internship is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working independently with moderate to limited supervision • An interest in business ethics, corporate social responsibility, or international business is a plus • Knowledge of software programs such as Adobe PageMaker and graphics design programs is a plus, but not required • Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply |
